WordPress 6.8, scheduled for April 15, 2025, is now ready to be translated on translate.wordpress.org!
If you’re looking to work on the latest translations, you’ll find them in the development projects. Also, everything for the WordPress 6.7 version is now available in its own project, which you can access here.
WordPress 6.8 introduces about 300 new strings. Translations that were already done for the Gutenberg project have been copied to the new project. This means there should be fewer new strings that need translating.
If your locale provides translations for the license.txt and/or readme.html files, please update them with following changes:
license.txt: https://build.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/59286/trunk/license.txt?old=56741&old_path=trunk%2Flicense.txt
readme.html: https://build.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/59291/trunk/readme.html?old=57881&old_path=trunk%2Freadme.html
Let’s embrace the joy of translating together, thank you! 🌏🌍🌎
