WordPress 5.5 is planned to be released on August 11, 2020, with a Beta 1 on July 7, 2020.
Given the large amount of accessibility tickets in the milestone, the accessibility team added few bug scrubs to help moving them forward:
- Tuesday June 23, 2020 at 15:00 UTC
- Tuesday June 30, 2020 at 15:00 UTC
- Monday July 6, 2020 at 15:00 UTC
These bug scrubs will be specifically focused on technical issues with Trac tickets and GitHub issues that are milestoned for WordPress 5.5.
Regular weekly bug scrubs are still planned every Fridays at 15:00 UTC.
