The Hosting team works between web hosts and WordPress Core to maintain distributed testing software that tests pre-release versions of WordPress on hosting systems, as well as infrastructure-focused documentation. Test data is sent back to WP Core, helping inform the development process and ensure that hosting platforms are compatible, error-free, and that version updates roll out smoothly.
