For WCUS 2023, we are testing a new idea: scheduling Program Supporters to be responsible for specific tasks during that week.
We are looking for at least 5 volunteers to take ownership of the following tasks for the week.
- 1 vetting meetups
- 1 vetting WordCamps
- 1-2 checking the Community Team Slack
- 2 HelpScout
Those vetting will check the trackers and ask for volunteers in Slack, as we have begun doing. You’re also of course welcome to vet applicants as you have time.
Those checking the Community Team Slack will answer questions when they can, and find help when they need to.
Those checking HelpScout will answer the questions they can – generally using saved replies– and keep the queue moving as possible.
