There’s a new release in the making: WP-CLI v2.2.0 is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th, 2019.
We already have a lot of nice improvements in the pipeline, but there’s still time to have your code included if you want to be a part of that release:
- There’s a list of “good first issues” that allow for an easy first try at contributing;
- We have a list of already accepted features that are just waiting for some adventurous soul to implement them;
- And we have a list of known bugs that need to be turned into non-bugs.
I will prioritize the bugs and some of the more important issues into a checklist for the upcoming release that will be available for WordCamp London, so I hope to see many, many people join us for the Contributor Day on April 5th.
Random note: The scheduled date for the v2.2.0 release coincides with the Contributor Day for WordCamp Paris. Maybe we can arrange for something special on that day?
