I’m making US a master list 🙂 Since we have P2, we can mark them off when done. Hah. This is a sticky, so we should edit it and add more on as we make discussion posts (or trac tickets) for them.
Please note that these are things primarily needed by Moderators, not a list of general bugs etc.
Things that are ‘broken’
- Profiles list of replies is not as useful as the old one
- Custom titles are uneditable (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Moving topics broken
- Need modlook without needing to post – Linked to a plugin there
- Forum actions need ajax ‘yes you clicked submit, don’t do it again’ to reduce double posts
- Improve spam/unspam/approve/unapprove process – Also consider changing the color scheme
- Inline spam/pending views inconsistent (possible b/c caching) — Sometimes the view all link is missing due to caching. When this happens, even adding ?view=all manually doesn’t work. This explains the issue I had on Friday. We need the link to always show, and it must bust cache 🙁 (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Moderators cannot see IPs and emails on profiles or in posts (fixed in r4122-meta and r4123-meta)
- Topic info count is broken (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Custom titles should not replace roles (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Restore Trash – let mods delete (@macmanx)
- Closed topics are no longer marked as such in the title (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Stickies are messed up (@SergeyBiryukov)
New Features we’d like to have
- Merge similar tags (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Spamming users should delete all their posts too
- Restore links to all/noreply/etc/ on front page (@SergeyBiryukov)
- Show people with ‘pending’ posts a message that it’s waiting for approval (@SergeyBiryukov)
Minor bugs we know about
- Do we need a better name than archive to ‘delete’ posts?
- Should we have a way to confirm as spam to hide from spam view? @otto42 is looking into this
- Would tool-tips on the action links (archive, spam, etc) help?
