Ryan updated us on the status of the merge of code from WPMU. So far we have the MU specific files in and are working on fixing those up and improving the code.
We have created a new Component in tracTrac An open source project by Edgewall Software that serves as a bug tracker and project management tool for WordPress. for the Multisitemultisite Used to describe a WordPress installation with a network of multiple blogs, grouped by sites. This installation type has shared users tables, and creates separate database tables for each blog (wp_posts becomes wp_0_posts). There was a brief discussion about the merge process and when it might be finished enough for people to test out. We also talked about making an alpha preview release available for people to test out migrating from WPMU.

Next we talked about the scope for 3.0 and the results of the forum discussion over the Christmas break.
The general consensus from the forum feedback and the meeting was to focus on the merge from MU, custom post types, improving the front end menus, the new default theme, and fixing bugs.
