Live Blogblog (versus network, site)
- BetaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. testing feedback on wp-testers looks good
- Improvements to menus coming along with work on non-js mode and implementing new wireframes in progress
- String freeze will happen at the same time as RC1. After this point changes will only be made if really necessary and wp-polyglots list will be notified of changes.
- In order to resolve the conversion to subdir multisitemultisite Used to describe a WordPress installation with a network of multiple blogs, grouped by sites. This installation type has shared users tables, and creates separate database tables for each blog (wp_posts becomes wp_0_posts). See also network, blog, site install issues that exist for a pre-existing single site we will not support upgrading to subdir multisite for existing installs in v3.0
- Improving twentyten – the look is pretty much set but patches are welcome to improve uninviting code.
- Menus – Focus is on the UIUI User interface and current feature set for now and is still under development. We will consider small improvements to functionality but need to focus on getting what we have working.
