In our SlackSlack Slack is a Collaborative Group Chat Platform https://slack.com/. The WordPress community has its own Slack Channel at https://make.wordpress.org/chat/ discussion the flow of an automated process formed. We were discussing what would could happen in a making themes auto live experiment. It could look like this:
- Agree to terms/license
- Upload theme.
- Automated theme check: reject or approve
- Approve and tracTrac Trac is the place where contributors create issues for bugs or feature requests much like GitHub.https://core.trac.wordpress.org/. ticket is made but it’s also set to live
- Somewhere on theme listing is a report button.
- A live ticket queue is available to theme reviewers.
- A reported ticket queue is available to theme reviewers.
- Reviewers check both queues and can remove a theme from being live.
- The reported ticket queue is a priority 1
This flow needs to have refinement but also needs to be seen as a step one. We have a lot of other things that the surveys will show us. This is purely speculative as a potential first step.
