- Welcome and introductions – there were some newer folks from WordCamp US who joined the meeting.
- WordCamp US Team Working Day
- We created a more clear flow for lesson plan testing feedback and identified specific action steps that we need to take to make sure everything works properly. Our notes from that conversation are in this comment.
- @bethsoderberg will make sure that @melindahelt‘s changes for the Lesson Plan Testing Guide are incorporated
- @meaganhanes wrote some standard responses for this process that need to be copy edited
- We talked about slides and agreed upon a proposed plan moving forward (see these notes) BUT we will not address slides again as a group until all lesson plans are written and we are ready to talk about peripheral materials like slides.
- We met with @jenmylo, who helped reset the focus of the team to be on creating lesson plans that will fit into four tiers as outlined in this snippet. T, , , . We have made the most progress with tier one and our focus as a team needs to be on completing tier one in time for the upcoming to-be-scheduled Hack the Hood workshop this coming spring. We are going to have a meeting with @jenmylo in about two weeks to go over how we’ll schedule everything to work towards this goal.
- @chanthaboune will be rejoining the team to help facilitate our work towards these goals, our first goal being completing tier one by the end of Q1.

- WordCamp US Contributor Day
- Lesson plans that are ready for copy editing after Sunday’s event are:
- The spreadsheet that we use for tracking all of the lesson plans got a little unwieldy over this past week and needs to be cleaned up a bit.
- We will use the photo of the lesson plans that no one picked to work on during Sunday’s contributor day to help revise the list of lesson plans that need to be created to move forward and complete Tier One.
