We took some time to discuss each of our three sub group:
- what information we already had gathered
- what information we wanted to gather
- what plans we had for next steps
Contributor Day Handbook
Existing resources include:

- info about Zoom accounts

- create a welcome page for attendees with a primer on what a Contributor Day is (W5H)

Contributor Event Best Practices
Ideas to pursue:
- talk with some experienced Contributor Day organizers
- connect with Marketing Team
- see if there are any attendee surveys that reference Contributor Day
Contributor Onboarding Experience
Note: @tacoverdo is considering tackling this from 2 perspectives: Contributor Events and Continuous Online (aka organic)

Other resources and ideas to investigate:
- create an intro area with info like:
- how to get started
- a place or way to ask general questions
- examine how core onboarding is done, what they’ve learned, and see how that can be used as a guideline for other teams
- have some testers go through an onboarding experience and provide feedback
- implement welcome bots in Slack
- utilize resources from Learn WordPress
