Announcements

CORS Proxy: A CORS Proxy is now available on playground.wordpress.net. It enables loading files directly from Git repositories using the git:directory resourece.
cURL Support: cURL is now available in web browsers.
Data Liberation Project: Kickoff announced.

Contributor Updates:

@berislavgrgicak Introduced password-less logins and gave his first ever talk about Playground
@bph will review and update blueprints from the gallery to use the new themeData feature and the CORS proxy
@zieladam implemented CURL support in web browsers
@akirk built a Blueprint for the Friends plugin and turned Playground into an RSS and ActivityPub reader. Also, Alex expanded the Step Library with steps like addCorsProxy, addMedia, and importFriendFeeds.
@psykro contributed a Blueprint for the Create Block Theme plugin

Discussions:

@bph asked about a PHP deprecation message in a Playground setup, which turned out to be likely related to the TT5 theme. The issue will be further investigated asynchronously on GitHub.
The meeting time will shift to 2 PM UTC to better accommodate US time zones. Recurring meetings are now scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at this new time.
