Marketing Team Vision

Our vision for the Marketing Team is to be the go-to resource on strategy and content for other WordPress teams. We reiterate our mission each week so that everyone who is new to the team understands what our goals are. This helps with onboarding.

Survey: How do you get your WP News?

  • What is going well? Joshua Bray made the survey today and @gidgey approved it. @gidgey will write a 300-word blog. Success will be defined as, 100 replies to the survey.

Notes: The following are the Case Studies currently being worked on, and could use some additional copy, and/or editorial suggestions.  There are currently 5 to work on in docs, so feel free to jump in wherever!

    • @mcdwayne – rounds of edits in, concern with the amount of Cloudary API discussion. The last thing we want is this making WP look weak and needing a third party tool to make up for its shortcomings. Take or leave what you want from my suggestions.
    • @harryjackson1221 – Ran through edits, and added just a few more. I agree with
    • @dwaynemcdaniel2 – we need to remove the Cloudinary stuff; also added a screenshot.
    • What is at risk? Nothing!
    • What can someone new in Marketing help with? This one is very close to wrapping up, but there are plenty more that new people can get involved with.
