Hi fellow mods, now that 2013 is upon us, and we’ve all gotten the habit of the regular flow of things on WordPress.tv, how about a live meeting (Google Hangout perhaps?) to discuss where we are and where we want to be? I’m thinking that the last week in January would be a good time, and I know we all are in different time zones, so let’s work out when is a good date and time to meet, or hangout, or whatever the cool kids are doing these days…
Here are a few agenda items I can think of, please add any others that occur to you in the comments:
- Guideline/approval standards that we can pass on to WordCamp organizers – let’s build this doc!
- Process documents for the day-to-day stuff we do; an instruction manual on how to be a mod, if you will.
- Our thoughts on how to improve the WordCamp experience on the site overall.
- Editorial calendar to put a schedule to our posts.
- Your suggestions…
Also, it’s about time for me to make an update post on make.wordpress/events, and I’d love to have some action items to share, and also your thoughts on anything else that needs to be brought up in that update post.
