Howdy ModSquad, thanks to @johnparkinson I caught this post about how hard it is to browse wordpress.tv for videos by language. To make life a little easier, I added a widget to the WordCamp TV category page to allow us to show all the languages we have videos for.

So, that is an improvement at least, but in setting it up I noticed that we often have two languages when one will suffice. For example, we have just one taxonomy for German videos (“German”) but two for French videos (“French” and “Français”) so the question is, which should we use?
Should we keep using English names for these languages, or actually use their, you know, real name?
