Hi, I would like to request a new locale for the North Frisian language, specifically its variety Fering (Föhr North Frisian). Since the North Frisian language consists of different varieties “which are to a certain degree mutually incomprehensible” as Walker (2001) describes, I would appreciate your consideration whether the local code could be used to differentiate this translation project from potential future translation projects of other North Frisian varieties, for example by using ISO 639-3 “frr” with an additional “_fer”, its Glottocode “ferr1240” or something comparable.
