I am writing to request GTE (General Translation Editor) status for the Arabic locale.
My Background:
I have been actively contributing to the Arabic translation of WordPress core, plugins, and themes for more than 8 years. I also work with WP-Translations.
Reason for Request:
This will speed up my contributions as my suggestions are not approved, even after months, and I am working to finish translating WordPress meta and other projects as well to Arabic.
Also the WordPress Arabic dashboard has some menu items still in English.
Community Involvement:
I am also active on the test-core.
