Happy Friday, everyone! It’s time for a roundup of this week’s Gutenberg links.
Block Reordering Animation
Beautifully smooth block reorder animations have been merged in and will be available in the next release. You can read a bit more about the thinking behind this in Matías’ recent blog post here.
UI Components
A ticket has been opened to begin discussing `wordpress/components` as a library of UI components. This is a great reframing of the Gutenberg UI elements as a full UI pattern library.
Accessibility
- The team is discussing the addition of an “Accessibility Options” section of the settings panel.
- The Design and Accessibility teams are discussing the new Snackbar notifications.
In progress updates
- The publishing flow is possibly moving into a dedicated modal.
- Tips is being iterated on, and could use some feedback.
- A reusable “Layout” or “Setup state” pattern is in the works.
Thank you for reading and for all your contributions. Have a great weekend!
