Each locale team is responsible for maintaining their own WordPress.org properties, including:
- Rosetta site (e.g. de.wordpress.org)
- Rosetta team blog (e.g. de.wordpress.org/team) – also called P2 or o2
- Rosetta support site (e.g. de.wordpress.org/support and de.wordpress.org/forums) – this is optional; created on a request basis
These act as a sole official interface of WordPress for users who speak a language other than US English. It’s important that Locale Managers understand the responsibility and capability they hold as admins, and use these to communicate well with their audience.
