I’ve been making a habit of adding descriptions to videos; I feel it’s important in giving viewers a sense of what would be covered in the video so they don’t have to click “play” and find out the slow way.
But I’m also lazy (efficient?!?) so to save on a ton of writing, I have just been finding the description for the talk as posted on the WordCamp site in question. In some cases a tiny bit of re-writing is needed to have it fit, usually shortening it a bit.
With that in mind, I’m posting up links to the WordCamp sites that seem to have the most videos pending. If you’re looking for an easy way to add good descriptions, here’s a good place to start. Just look for your speaker…
