📝 Agenda

• We discussed missing replica shards on the production ElasticSearch cluster for the current image alias. We enabled one replica with a PUT request to the index: http put localhost:9200/image/_settings number_of_replicas=1.
  • We observed that the ingestion server logic for setting the replica count to 1 appears correct, and we will monitor the aliases after our next image refresh to make sure the replicas are set correctly.
• We assigned three critical or high-priority issues:
  • Assigned this critical priority frontend flaky test issue: https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/2473
  • Assigned project board change IP (or remove from ToDos): https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/issues/1931
  • Assigned this version upgrade effort: https://github.com/WordPress/openverse/pull/2286
• We downgraded a few high priority issues:
  • Implementation Plan: Regularly export tallies data so that it can be cleaned from Redis 
  • Add unit tests for Python automation scripts
  • Move catalog dashboard into catalog-airflow
  • TIFF thumbnails do not work #2442
