WordCamp US 2022 is right around the corner and so is Contributor Day! Our team will have a presence at Contributor Day on Sunday, September 11, where both new and experienced Community Team contributors will work on our 2022 team goals. 🚀
Some of the goals we had for this year included:
- Meetup Group Reactivation (currently ongoing)
- New Meetup Mentors Program
- Training for Meetup/WordCamp Organizers
And of course, we always have our ongoing work supporting Meetups, WordCamps, and other events across the globe. 🌏🌍🌎
Now, we’d like to hear your ideas! What kind of tasks should we focus on?
You can look at what we planned for WordCamp Europe’s Contributor Day earlier this year for inspiration. ✨ We’d especially like to hear Deputies’ ideas for what activities first-time contributors can take part in. (Keep in mind that some of our ongoing work requires access which might pose challenges!)
