Attendance
We’re trying something new. Even if you’re lurking in the meeting, please find something to reply to or at least leave an emoji reaction on. We have heard that a lot of people follow the meetings, and we’d love to know who you all are, and how many of you are there.
Remember, meetings are open to everyone, and that includes participation. If you want to say something during a meeting, go for it, but please at least let us know you’re there. 🙂
As Murphy’s Law would have it, emoji reactions were bugging out today, but I’m sure we’ll be able to kick this off for real next week.
WordPress 4.5.1
Besides the re-emergence of https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/21602 and marking https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/36510 as fixed, no changes needed to be made to The 4.5 Master List.
4.5.2 is in progress. There is no ETA at this time, but an exact ETA will be provided before launch.
WordPress 4.6
The schedule for WordPress 4.6 is live. The final release is planned for August 16, while the first public beta is planned for June 29.
Reminder of Expectations/Guidelines
The Support Team would like to take a moment to remind everyone of the expectations of Admins/Mods as well as the guidelines for Support Contributor and Support Team badges.
In addition, if you are busy or need some time away from all this, please do let us know. We really do care, and it’s just in our nature to worry when people disappear.
Accessibility Forum
The Accessibility Forum is live! Please stop by to help folks with developing and using an accessible WordPress.
A more formal welcome thread, as well as a collection of copy/paste replies, are in progress.
