- A quick reminder (because topics are beginning to appear) that the new Plugins search engine returns “the most relevant results based on a combination of many factors including version compatibility, recency, and popularity, in conjunction with text relevancy.”
- Registration for WordCamp EU 2017‘s Contributor DayContributor Day Contributor Days are standalone days, frequently held before or after WordCamps but they can also happen at any time. They are events where people get together to work on various areas of https://make.wordpress.org/ There are many teams that people can participate in, each with a different focus. https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/getting-started/getting-started-at-a-contributor-day/ is open. Please register if you are attending WCEU this year and are available on June 15.
WordPress 4.7.4
We have nothing new to add to the known issues for 4.7 this week, but we did remove “MP3 uploads are split into two files: an MP3 with no cover image, and a corrupt JPG.” which was fixed in 4.7.4.
