Thanks to everyone for their nominations for the new Core Performance Team Rep! Because the nominations were unanimous, no further voting was necessary. As announced in our chat earlier today, I am happy to share that @clarkeemily will be the new Core Performance Team Rep. As a reminder, every Make WordPress team typically has two Team Reps, so Emily and myself will be the Team Reps going forward.
At this point, I would also like to express my gratitude for all the valuable contributions by @mxbclang to the Core Performance Team, in which we collaborated together well more than the 6 months since the official Team Rep roles were formally established. The privilege of having worked with you is mutual, thank you for helping to shape this team for where we are today.
Going forward, Emily and I will work together to continue ensuring that the Performance Team is well-represented to the broader project and in regular updates to WordPress leadership and community. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us here or in Slack.
